Can from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is herbal, floral and hoppy with saffron, flower petals, touch of ginger, some cardamom, lightly fruity. Flavour is light sweet and medium bitter. Body is medium. Very herbal with lots of saffron and floral notes, not bad.

Towering dense yellow head, very stable and lacey, over clear metallic orangey-golden beer, uneven bubbled. Intense spicy nose, pretty pharmaceutical. Saffron, since I know it's there, cardamom quite possible too, but it could be anything. Oxydized hops (slightly). Quite bitter flavour, sharp. Again spices-herbal-pharmaceutical jumble; spice essences, powerful but not really aromatic. Some toasted malts, indifferent hops (or overwhelmed). Quite slick, feels almost full bodied. Hopburn, burning MF; well-carbonated. Could this have been more, or is it me? Disappointed.

Many thanks for this beer to Dariusz Sokol from PiwaSwiata.com. Piwo nalane z syknieciem glosnym niczym sykniecie mojego kota gdy mu sie zabiera miske podczas jedzenia. Barwa jak advokat, kogel-mogel, bardzo jaskrawo zolto-pomaranczowe, silnie metne z wielka piana niczym nos Pinokia. Trwala niczym silniki Mercedesa, Przepieknie pachnie nawlocia, rumiankiem i mniszkiem lekarskim. W smaku napar z rumianku, miod nawlociowy z domieszka kurkumy. Fajne, przyprawowe, chmielne i przyjemnie slodowe. Wyraziste piwo.

Keg at BD TH, 25/07/18. Golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is orange peel, toasted grains, melon, tangerine, bready notes. Taste comprises orange pith, light pine, touch of spice, melon, citric tinged straw, toasted grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with balanced hop bitterness. Ok IPA ... I don't think the saffron adds much.

Keg at Brewdog Bristol. Golden colour, thin white foam head and zesty floral herbal ginger hoppy aroma. Taste is malt caramel with a gingery spicy saffron note with citrus, pine resiny hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Quite drinkable.
