Sampled during Carnivale Brettanomyces. Hazy orange color, average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, some hops and a weird touch that could indeed come from the red wine barrels. Sort of like tannine so that makes sense. Average bitterness. Decent body and carbonation.

Sample from tap @ Carnival Brettanomyces 2015, in Prael proeflokaal. Hazy golden/orange color. Almost white head (not much). Aroma’s: sourish, woody. Retronasal: vinous, sourish, herbal hops, tannines. Flavor is moderate sour, tannines. Medium bodied. Finishes with more tannines, dry and bitter.

Thanks for sharing! Sampled draft @ De Prael during Carnivale Brettanomyces #4. Murky amber, little white head. Nose is vinegar, glue, puckering sour, vinegar mixed with puckering red wine. Taste is sweet glue, soap, mixed with red wine, soapy red fruit, boring, no nuances,.. Low carbonation, a bit watery, not a success.

Tap at de Prael. Hazy Amber with small white head. Citrus hops up front, nasty herbs, bit of wood glue, old wood, rotten fruits. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Draft at De Prael. Pours cloudy orange with a ring off white head. Aroma of big floral hops, oak and tropical fruit. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Fairly thin bodied with very soft carbonation.
