This looks like a New England ipa but i found the flavor much too dry and bitter. Missing the lactose sweetness. Bitter citrus hop finish.

Draft somewhere in northern Indiana. Murky, cloudy apricot-hued body, thick puffy off-white head. Rather dry body, dank with tropical fruits, earth, and moderate bitterness in the finish. Nice.

Canned 6/12, drunk 7/29/18.
Heavily hazy, lemon-gold. White head steadily to a ring.
Honey, tea and a strong lemon-orange character comprise the initial aroma. Doesn't seem juicy much, with pine and grapefruit being thrown about a lot, but it's clean and shows no booze or weird yeast character. Malts are biscuity and have light heft to them.
Lemon, tea, light juice and a bit of pine, open up the flavors in the mouth, as it turns to a moderately bitter lemon oil-like character. Soft, though, with a good malt structure. Remains dry and citrusy but retains its balance. Lingering pine, white grapefruit and lemon though it's barely resinous. Low, engaging carbonation. Very sparse cracker-like malt but it's not thin or undermalted.

On draught in Chicago. Hazy yellow with overt citrus and tropics. Flavor follows aroma.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 12/12/2017. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, honey, white bread dough, light caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, honey, white bread dough, light caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very mild pine, herbal, floral, grassy, zesty bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, honey, white bread dough, light caramel, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance; and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 8%. Overall this is a very nice NEIPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the minimally bitter/drying finish. Great soft feel for the style. Very juicy and lightly dank hop complexity; with a balanced bready malt backbone. Not overly sweet/heavy. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example. Held up well considering the can dating.

Can. Very unique. First “hazy” ipa. While not my favorite option, I appreciated the new style and complexity.

A hazed golden ipa with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, pleasant. Can at 3 Floyds.
