16 oz can from Witch's Hat. Canning date is hard to read, but definitely says 2024. Pours black with a tan head. Heavy cocoa, molasses, soy, and bourbon aroma, with some peanut butter, I think. Peanut butter comes through the strongest of the added ingredients in the flavor, with strong, syrupy molasses, cocoa, bourbon, vanilla. Coconut, I think, adds a bit of a lighter note to an otherwise heavy beer. Very good.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours black with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma is bourbon forward with some dark grains, peanut butter and a bit of vanilla coming through. Flavor has vanilla, dark grains and peanut butter with a bit of chocolate and bourbon in the finish.

2020 August can shared at our Fury for a Feast share. Pours a pitch black with a small bit of beige foam. Same old classic TraXXX body, aromas and flavor. Peanut butter is there but a bit roastier than usual it seems. Lots of dark espresso and roasted malt bitterness. As it warmed up more peanut butter came out.

Bottle shared at our Fury for a Feast share. Thanks Adam. Pitch black pour with a small beige head. Classi TraXXX with lots of peanut butter, coffee and roasted malt aromas and flavors. Good relatively thick body. Lingering roast, coffee and peanut butter.

Bottle shared at our Fury for a Feast share. Pours a pitch black with a small beige head. Lots of peanut butter, coffee and dark cacao nib aromas. Good bitter chocolate notes with faint warming alcohol notes. Pretty smooth overall with the sweetness held in check by the coffee and roasted malt. Still drinking well.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a pitch black hue with almost no head. A big sweet nice, peanut butter, vanilla, roast. Certainly decadent, rich toffee, caramel, soft sugary peanut butter. Very nice, the base is big roast and holds up. 13.5% not 10.8.
