Bottle shared at Lucky Bamboo share. Thanks Mike! Pours a deep brown to black with a small bit of beige head that lingers. Lots of bourbon in the nose with milk chocolate brownies, peanut butter and faint vanilla. Palate has more of the same, not too thin which is nice. Smooth bourbon notes with lingering chocolate and faint toasted coconut on the finish.

12 ounce bottle into snifter, 2018 vintage bottling. Pours dense opaque dark brown/black color with a small dense dark tan head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of huge milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, peanut butter, vanilla, whipped cream, coconut, caramel, toffee, brown sugar, marshmallow, fudge, cake batter, bourbon, toasted oak, and dark/brown bread; with light notes of molasses, smoke, char, dark fruit, herbal, and roast/toast/oak earthiness. Incredible complexity and balance of dark/roast/bready malts, molasses, flavorings, and bourbon barrel notes; with big strength. Taste of huge milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, peanut butter, vanilla, whipped cream, coconut, caramel, toffee, brown sugar, marshmallow, fudge, cake batter, bourbon, toasted oak, and dark/brown bread; with light notes of molasses, smoke, char, dark fruit, herbal, and roast/toast/oak earthiness. Very minimal herbal/roast bitterness and bourbon/oak spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, peanut butter, vanilla, whipped cream, coconut, caramel, toffee, brown sugar, marshmallow, fudge, cake batter, bourbon, toasted oak, dark/brown bread, light molasses/dark fruit, and roast/toast/oak earthiness on the finish for a while. Amazing complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malts, molasses, flavorings, and bourbon barrel flavors; with a solid roasted bitter/sweet and bourbon/oak spiciness balance; with zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-medium carbonation and very full body; with a very creamy, silky, velvety, and rich mouthfeel that is insane! Slight sticky spice, chalky roast, oak tannins, and increasing dryness. Minimal warming alcohol for 13.5%, with zero barrel booziness lingering after the finish. Overall this is an insane BBA flavored imperial stout! All around amazing complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malts, molasses, flavorings, and bourbon barrel flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to drink for the huge ABV, with the minimally bitter/roasty finish. Super rich base malt complexity; perfect balance of PB, coconut, vanilla, cocoa, and lactose flavorings; perfect barrel integration with no booze/tannins. Pretty much the smoothest imperial stout I've ever had for this ABV. A highly amazing and mind blowing offering.

Willrunforbeer’s fridge clean out. 22 oz bottle. 2016 vintage. No head on a pitch black liquid. Oily viscosity on the chalice swirl. The aroma is crazy, smashed peanuts, coffee, roasted and vanilla bean. Maybe chocolate with all these adjuncts!

Heavily adjuncted but good. Peanuts and chocolate work well with the vanilla hitting the backside in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium plus. Texture is oily with a mild level of roast. Backbone could be stronger. Perhaps a tad thin. No alcohol hints, mainly because the bourbon is very light.

Pours black, small grey head. smell is dark malts, thick, rich. Taste is full, dark malts, bourbon, rather sharp, very mild vanilla. Boozy ( a bit ) don’t really get much peanut at all, neither do I get the cocoa. Good, but I expected way better.

Bottle courtesy of Hackobock. Pours black with a small mocha head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty and boozy with roasted malts, burnt bread, vanilla fudge, charred wood, dark roast coffee, dark chocolate, moist soil and bourbon alcohol. Taste is sweet, heavy bitter, malty and boozy. Mouthfeel is round, astringent, boozy and medium to full bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with roasted malts, burnt caramel, vanilla fudge, burnt wood, dark roast coffee, dark chocolate, moist soil, soot and alcohol. Very hot and rough around the edges. Needs time to mellow out I guess.

Bottle at RBBWG 2016 in Antwerpen. Clear, very dark reddish brown to black with a brown head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity aroma of caramel, dark chocolate, coffee, molasses and dark ripe fruits. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of coffee, dark chocolate, caramel and hints of dark ripe fruits, followed by a short, slightly bitter, roasty finish. Medium to full body, creamy to oily mouthfeel. Very nice!

Thank you for sharing ElManana + 1! 650 ml. bottle shared @ RBBWG V. “Bourbon barrel aged Night Fury Imperial stout aged on Vanilla beans, Mindo cocoa nibs, coconut and peanut butter” => Nice. Pours very dark black with basically no head. Nose is thick sweet molasses, fudge, hugely thick & massively sugary, exotic sugar, molasses, syrup, sweet, very thick. Taste is massive syrup, molasses, sugar, vanilla, brown sugar, sweet sugar, warming, low booze, thick molasses, chocolate. Very thick bodied. Unfortunately you cannot get peanut butter or coconut instead you get massive sugar, molasses & syrup. Lovely even if different than I expected going by the ingredients. Delicious thick sugary molasses affair.
