Sampled from bottle @ Ratebeer Belgian Winter Gathering 2016. Opaque pitch black color, small light brown head. Aroma is malts, decent roastyness, bourbon. Taste malts, roast, I get a light chili or pepper, light alcohol, dark malts, light liquorice, light wood. Nice bitterness. Medium body and carbonation.

Bottle courtesy of Kermis. Poured dark brown with a short-lived frothy tan head moving quickly to a round round tan head. The aroma is buttery caramel, peanut butter. The flavour is moderate sweet with a rich oily fruity, vanilla, alcohol bitter palate. Full bodied with soft carbonation. Rather good. I hope to taste it again when it has aged.

Bottle shared thanks to kermis (again). Black with very short lasting beige head. Loads of roasted nuts, peanut oil and butter, bourbon, vanilla, big roasted grains and some ash, fresh coffee beans, dried apricot and apple. Loads of roasted notes and nuts throughout. Over medium sweet and strong roasted bitterness. Full bodied with slick creamy feel and low carbonation with quite alcoholic finish.
