Dark body with thick off white head. Maple and malt aroma. Sweet maple and malt taste with a lasting sweet finish. No alcohol burn. Breakfast? This is a dessert in itself.

Can.

A- Black color, opaque liquid, brown head.

A- Maple, pancake batter.

F- Maple syrup, pancakes, coffee liquer, slightly sweet.

T- Medium body, slightly thick texture, average carbonation, slightly sweet finish.

O- Wow, I love maple and always buy maple beers and they usually let me down as the flavor is not there and it just adds a general sweetness. Not this one. Loads of real maple and a solid pancake batter flavor. The coffee tastes like Mr Black espresso liqueur adding a touch of alcohol behind the sweetness. This was super good but about 8 oz is really enough in one sitting as much as I did enjoy the full can.

Lots of sugar but really balanced out by bitter coffee and savoury maple.

US Pint can from O'Sheas, poured into a Kasteel chalice (twice) at my daughters place in Laguna Hills on 1st August 2025. Near black body, tanned head that became a wisp and collar very quickly on both pours. Intense maple syrup and coffee nose, these esters carry on into the boozy flavours, almost harsh coffee taste tempered by the maple syrup sweetness. Walnut like flavours try and butt in and it becomes a little 'nutty' as it warms in the glass. All in all a very nice 'Nightcap' and a beer that will help me sleep (Jet Lag still playing havoc with my sleeping and I've been here 9 days).

pitch dark smooth large light brown head.
maple syrup, roasted malts, coffee, brown sugar, honey in the aroma.
vanilla pancakes aroma. normally i find pastry stouts artificially sweet and artificially flavored but this aroma is natural and really good.
flavor is chocolate, roasted malts, bit watery palate, dark caramel, espresso coffee or hard roasted coffee, burnt pancakes - far from as good as aroma but still reasonable pastry stoutish. burnt caramel is too big in the mix.

Dark brown pour with a bit of tan head. Coffee forward aroma until it warms a bit, then the maple emerges. Enjoyable balance of sweet maple syrup to espresso and some mocha. Soft and silky.
