From the coast of California comes Mind Haze, a free-spirited beer made to elevate your perceptions—juicy yet balanced, hazy yet lasting, and loaded with an imaginative array of tropical hop flavors.

In the words of Brewmaster Matt Brynildson, “Mind Haze offers the best of what you expect from a hazy IPA. But we’re going about it a little differently, and that’s what gives Mind Haze its own unique signature. We’re finally ready to do a hazy IPA the Firestone way.”

Can 12fl.oz. @home poured into a shaker. Hazy pale golden colour, fair moussy white head, diminishing unevenly, patchy lacing. Aroma pale malts, grain, lemon, pineapple, grapefruit, floral hops. Smooth and mild sweet and light bitter taste, grain, lemon, pineapple, light grapefruit, light spicy notes. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation, very smooth and gentle sweetbitter aftertaste, well-balanced, easy to drink, nice.

Pours cloudy gold. Medium sized, stable head. Scent is fruity , yellow fruits and stonefruits. Citrussy. Very fruity, almost lemonade like. Taste is quite creamy. Gentle bitterness, yet pronounced pilsnerish maltyness. Bready, more Belgian than expected (perhaps this version is brewed in Belgium ?) Mild , not absent bitterness. Nice enough NEIPA, yet not on par with others I've had from FW.

Can from Beer Republic. Hazy yellow, stable, foamy, white head. Aroma of bread crust, mandarin, grapefruit, lemongrass, wet pepper, herbs. Taste has sweetish mandarin, melon & unripe peach; sourish citrus zest in a bready malt body. Floral hoppy finish, bit spicy, mainly citrus. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Acceptable but not very complex.
