(bottle, courtesy of motelpogo) Dark brown colour with a brown medium-sized foamy head. Moderately roasted malty aroma with slightly sour-fruity notes of blueberries, accompanied by hints of chocolate, marzipan and espresso. Moderately roasty bitter and delicately sour flavour, light bodied with a modest carbonation. Moderately roasted and slightly earthy malt character with notes of dark chocolate, dry mouthfeel; roasty bitter and subtle fruity finish with notes of chocolate and liquorice in the aftertaste. A tad slim, but nevertheless enjoyable. 01.III.14

Tap at RJ. Aroma fruity, roasted, chocolate. Stable beige head. Taste is moderately roasty, light chocolate. Very nice dark malt character, slightly similar to Guinness, but better. Light complementary fruitiness. Nicely drinkable, soft creamy mouthfeel, long roasty bitter finish. Very good

Appearance: Clear amber brownish color with a fine tan head that leaves an ok lacing.
Aroma: Malty, a bit sour and some fruity notes.
Palate: Medium body. Tad sweet and a mild bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Malty, sour and some fruity notes.
Overall impression: Wonder why they call it a stout. Not very stout like at all. Very dunkel like if you ask me. Maybee an infection going on because it was a bit sour.
Personal stats: Bottle from a trade with Cuso

Bottle(diky, Cuso!): Hazy, reddish-amber coloured, mid-sized persistent creamy tanned head, sweetish (only a bit…) roasty-fruity nose; moderate to robust dryish bitter flavour with a slight sourish touch, creamy MF, light to medium bodied; dryish bitter, fruity and roasty finish with a delicate caramelly counterpart. Really a pleasant one…
