Cask gravity at gbbf 2015 day 3. Thanks to Chris. Reddy brown coloured pour with a halo of lasting light tan head. Aroma is Smokey, glazed ham meat, nutty malts. Flavour is light dark malts. Smoked, ham, maple glaze. Woody malts. Palate is semi sweet with a dry finish.

Clear very dark purple brown to black beer, big creamy beige head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: malty, grains, hay, soft roasted, some caramel, bit metallic. MF: lots of carbon, medium to light body. Taste: soft roast, malty, grains, pretty metallic, bit sourish, hoppy bitterness. Aftertaste: roasted, mocha, some caramel, bitter, malty. Very nice low abv stout!

bottle from Kulovy Blesk. Deep brown, almost black, with a brown head. Chocolatey, some coffee and dried fruit. Quite dry, not too sweet.

Bottle. A black one, topped by a dense, finger-thick beige head. The aroma is pretty boring, weak, with roasted malts and some dried fruits. Some coffee in the flavor, with roasted malts, dark chocolate notes and some vegetable notes. Medium body, soft carbonation, quite dry on the palate. Lasting roasted finish. Looks great this one, but the aroma and flavor isn’t much interesting. 140608
