Can from Tavour. Pours apricot gold with a slight white head and floaties throughout. Aroma is tart/ripe apricot. Med body. Flavor is tart/ripe apricot. Very much like the ripe apricot around a pint - not the juicy/sweet stuff towards the skin. Maybe some skin in this too. Flavorful.

Taster at home courtesy of Rob (n Sander), big thanks. yellow cloudy color, small white head. smells citric, lime, parfumy, hay, light fruity notes. nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes citric, lime, some sweetness, berry notes, jammy, bit salty, zesty, grassy. finishes sour and sweet with notes of citrus, jammy berry notes and some salt. pretty drinkable overall, fruity / apricot notes are rather subtle though.

Can. A- Apricot, gummy. A- Yellow orange color, cloudy liquid, white head. T- Apricot, gummy bears, mild tang, slightly tart, slightly salty. P- Medium body, slightly creamy texture, average carbonation, O- Not sure I get much for vanilla but wow the apricot flavor is spot on. Like a fruit smoothie meets gummy bears. Right balance of tangy and fruity. Outstanding really. Probably underrated it.

Sample at the brewpub during the Paperweight Variant Release event on 06/22/2019. Cloudy orange-gold color with a medium bright white head that diminishes gradually to a dense film. Sticky strings of lace. Aroma of apricot, yeast, vanilla and malt. Medium body with flavors of sweet-tart apricot, vanilla, wheat and biscuit malt. The finish is fruity with an apricot aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 6/11/2019. Pours opaquely murky/hazy deep orange/green/amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky orange head with great retention, that reduces to a thin spotty lace cap that lingers. Nice spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big sour/tart/tangy apricots, peach, fruit fuzz/skin/pits, lemon, lime, orange, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, and white bread dough; with lighter notes of peppercorn, vanilla, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of apricots, fruity/acidic yeast, pale/wheat malts, and light vanilla notes; with big strength. Taste of huge sour/tart/tangy apricots, peach, fruit fuzz/skin/pits, lemon, lime, orange, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, and white bread dough; with lighter notes of peppercorn, vanilla, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness, fruit tang, and spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of sour/tart/tangy apricots, fruity/acidic yeast, pale/wheat malts, and light vanilla notes; with big strength. Taste of huge sour/tart/tangy apricots, peach, fruit fuzz/skin/pits, lemon, lime, orange, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of apricots, fruity/acidic yeast, pale/wheat malts, and light vanilla flavors; with an awesome malt/tart/sourness and tangy fruit balance; with no puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering tart/sourness and tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy/acidic/tangy/tannic, and lightly slick balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 7.7%. Overall this is a fantastic fruited kettle sour. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of apricots, fruity/acidic yeast, pale/wheat malts, and light vanilla flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/refreshing to drink with the modestly acidic/tangy/tannic/drying finish; not overly lactic. Fantastic balance of super juicy/jammy apricots and Lacto complexity; with a great pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity. Mild residual sweetness with crisp acidic/tangy dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and outstanding style example as expected. Enormous amounts of fruit presence.

Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a thick and murky apricot gold with a finger of white foam that dissipates quickly. Wonderful pungent apricot skin and flesh aromas with good fruit and tart notes on the nose. Thick and juicy on the palate with apricot puree followed by slight tartness and mild skin astringency. Lingering apricot pulp and mild stone notes. Really good. --- Beer merged from original tick of Paperweight on 14 Jul 2019 at 22:03 - Score: 8. Original review text: Big pungent apricot nose with some light lemon juice as it warms. Thick and viscous apricot purée with light stone and skin astringency. Yum
