Blend of lambics aged on average 16 to 18 months and of Muscat grapes. Muscat grapes make Vigneronne a delicate and very refreshing beer that, due to the fructose, is slightly less acidic than other Cantillon beers. In spite of its success, the Vigneronne represents less than 5% of the total production of the Cantillon brewery. In order to obtain grapes which are as mature as possible, we buy them at the end of the season. Every year, 1000 kilos of white italian grapes are delivered at the Cantillon brewery in the beginning of October. It is difficult to produce more Vigneronne even though the demand exists. All the grapes are picked from the bunch by hand and we don’t have much time, since the new brewing season starts at the end of October. The beers are not blended before the bottling. The second fermentation is caused by the addition of a sugared liquor. The six-pointed star on our label is an alchemist’s symbol. It contains four elements, represented by triangles, of the brewing process. The fire is the symbol of the mashing tun, the earth of the cereals, the air of the yeasts, and the water is the fourth element. At this moment, only a brewer of traditional lambic may use this symbol.

Bottle, 750 ml at Miro B's Grande. Shared with him, JFK10000 and Werckmeister. 2017 Vintage. Hazy orange with almost no head. Super funky, juicy, barnyard, grapes. Nice sourness. Smooth. Vintage is way better than fresh, 6 years did miracles.

Heavy muscat grape flavor, almost wine like. Super funky from the skins and nice sweetness balanced by the bitter yeast

02/12/2018 0,75l bottle shared home. Poured from decanter. Bottled 22.10.2017. orange hazy color, small white head. smells peach, flowery, light grapes, light wood, elder flowers, bit musty, very light sweetness. lovely smell. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes earthy, spices, bit peppery, grainy, light sugar, peach, white grapes, bit flowery, light ginger, wood. finishes lightly dry with notes of ginger, flower, light peach and herbal notes. very nice one, loved the smell once it warms up, nice taste, almost no sourness. great one.

Rerate 28/06/2021: 0,75l bottle at home. Vintage 2017. Bottled . orange murkyy color, small white head. smells peachy, stone fruits, white grapes, funky, grassy, citric, some oak. lovely smell. medium body, soft carbonation. tastes citric, grassy, funky, stone fruits, earthy, bit lactic. finishes dry and lightly sour with notes of citrus, peach and stone fruits notes. very very nice one, lovely to drink. awesome one.

Rerate 15.01.2023: 0,75l bottle at Miro's Grande in Zagreb. yellow hazy color, small white head. smells stone fruits, peaches, funky, citric, jammy. very nice smell. medium body, soft carbonation. tastes stone fruits, peaches, jammy, bit funky, citric, almost medical. finishes lightly dry and lightly sour with notes of stone fruits, peaches and funky notes. lovely
