Hoolweg was in charge of the stables for the old Van Vollenhoven brewery and a little bit of a odd ball and social outcast with a… “distinctive aroma.” He was more comfortable around animals than people but when he had a few of his farmhouse creations he turned into a party animal. In his honor we’ve made Hoolweg Mixed Fermentation Farmhouse Ale, a series of aged beers that take full advantage of brettanomyces, saccharomyces, lactobacillus, and anything else we can throw in the mix.
Grab a glass of Hoolweg and you too can walk with the animals, talk with the animals, grunt and squeak and party with the animals.
