Every year, millions of tons of single-use plastic finds its way into streams, rivers and oceans — and the problem is only getting worse.

We’re teaming up with our fellow nature-lovers at Costa Sunglasses to mobilize a movement and help protect our watery world. Together we can #KickPlastic.

This Czech-style pils pops with herbal notes and tropical fruit aroma, balanced by malty, oceanic characters on the palate.

Got this on tap at hollywoodgardens. Neutral nose. Clear pale. First taste is medium mild then that sharp old country pilz moves in. Almost astringent in the middle. Decent c02 thru the session. Except for that bitter astringent bite, I'd say its not bad but there it is, right in yer face. Could be a little more civilized.

Barley malt and fresh floral grass aroma. Medium yellow with large white head. Mildly sweet barley malt, and mildly bitter fresh grass flavor. Good body. Nice, easy drinking pilsner.

Gold with a light haze. A frothy white head lingers and a sticky lacing clings to the glass. Hints of pils malts, bubblegum and mixed tropical fruits. Taste has a straightforward pils bitterness up front, metallic and dry, fruity at the end though with a mild tartness. A worthwhile experiment.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a vibrant dark amber color with a large foamy yellow-white head that lingered and left excellent lacing. The aroma was citrus, grass and a bit herbal. The flavor was light citrus, grass and a light herbal note. Medium length finish. Medium body.

6 week old can A: Pours a finely hazed dark gold with a very short head that fell to a lasting cap and ring. Slow bubbles visible through the haze. S: Bread dough with pungent grassy herbal and peppery hops in balance. T: Bitter grass and hay notes alongside crisp light toast or biscuit. Very well balanced. M: Active but fine beaded carbonation wash with a dry chalky finish. O: Sweetwater does pilsners very well IMO and this is no exception. It's a shame they wont make one year-round. Easy recommendation.

Pour is a slightly hazy gold with a large white head. Aroma is a sweet pale malt and not much else. Flavor is more sweet malt with a adjuncty aftertaste. A little on the bland side but still drinkable.

Grabbed quick six pack after hellish week. I do love my Costa sunglasses as wel. Anyways more orange colored than most pils. Now eis peppery and light citrus. Tastes of grains, dough, grapefruit, pepper. Medium bodied

Gonna be honest: I was totally ready to rail on this beer--nothing makes me think of a good Czech pils like a pair of Costa del Mar sunglasses--but, shit, it's actually a damn fine beer. Mild grainy sweetness with ton of Saaz floral bitterness accented by grapefruit, orange, and pineapple. Finishes bitter and grassy, underlined by the slightest hint of salted caramel. Not a traditional pils, but a damn fine one regardless.
