Bottle at tasting. Vintage 2021. Poured pitch black in color. Hazelnuts so strong it overpowers pretty much everything. Cocoa dryness and malty sweetness. Bodied.

Draught, taster. @MBCC 2022, Copenhagen (Denmark). 14/05/2022 [#5.000 Global - #712 United States of America - #6 Cycle Brewing] #5.000, we made it baby. Almost black pour with a beige head. Loaded with hazelnuts and pistacchio. Incredible hazelnut aroma. Taste is balanced bourbon and hazelnuts leading to a warm finish. Next one please!

Tap MBCC 2022 Red Session. Poured almost black with little life. The aroma is big hazelnuts and sweet chocolate. The flavour is strong sweet, with a rich, smooth, oily, liqourice, chocolate, light hazelnut, warm boozy alcohol bitter palate. Over medium bodied with flat carbonation.

Tap. Almost black color with beige head. Aroma is strong hazelnuts, cocoa, very intensey but aromatic. Taste is hazelnuts, cocoa af, mildly roasty in the back. Velvety mouthfeel, fine-bubbled carbonation. Very good!

Watford Tasting. Aroma is boozy with chocolate and nuts. Dark and glossy. thinnest 1mm head on the rim. Ganasch plus a big bitter streak. Dark chocolate and booze. Surprisingly light-medium bodied. Big a rich hazlenut tinged chocolate + booze. Medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long astringent finish. Lux.

Bottle split at MBCW '22 (Moist Beer Celebration Watford), thanks to Fergus, 13/05/22. Black with a tan cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is rich chocolate, spice, big hazelnut presence, dark malts, roasted tones, molasses. Taste comprises dark chocolate, nutty, Cadburys wholenut, dark malts, roasted tones, mellow barrelled edge. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Solid BA impy.
