Bottle shared in Malaysia, thank you Johnson! Poured almost black in colour with little life. The aroma is roasty, big hazelnut, The flavour is moderate to strong sweet, with a smooth, super rich, roasty, toffee, butterscotch, liquorice, chocolate, warm, boozy alcohol bitter palate. Full bodied with flat carbonation. Awesome.
Sweet and roasted malty with cocoa, toffee and caramel, full body, hazelnut accented malty close.
Still really like this, tons of chocolate and hazelnut, hints of barrel make it out, maybe still my favorite cycle beer.

Bottle from De Bierliefhebber. Lovely hazelnut aroma with roasted malt, boozy bourbon, dark chocolate, oak, touch of vanilla, fudge. Big bourbon finish. Sweet and warming boozy with a mild bitterness. Full, thick body that complements the aroma. Absolutely delicious.

A black beer, no head. Aroma of hazelnuts, cocoa, sweet dark malt. Taste of sweet strong dark caramelized malt, hazelnut, toffee, cocoa.

Cremiger, würzig malziger Beginn. Intensiv nussig, alkoholisch, trockene Röstnoten. Intensiv malzig bleibend, viel Schokolade, erhöhte Viskosität. Gut! 11/12/12/11/9/11

Black with a brown head - Strong nutty aroma with some barrelnotes - Malt body with some chocolate, styrong nutty flavours and wood barrel - The malt with a stron nutty flavour goes into the finish - This was good

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is hazelnuts, cocoa, alcohol, liquorice and mild popcorn elements. Flavour is nutty, cocoa, alcohol, liquorice, hazelnuts, some toffee with some toasted tones. Alcohol is a bit too evident in the flavour, but otherwise really nice.
