Bottle. Very nice hop aroma, sweet, spicy and teaish. Cloudy brown colour, getting muddy. Big, stable light brown head, leaving lace. The flavour is much the same as aroma, quite sweet, but tasty.

Bottle (Düsseldorf Gathering): "Grey" to amber coloured; intensive, strong resinous, medical hoppy nose; strong bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; lingering dry hoppy finish with coffeeish and liquorice influences. A very fine brew.....

Bottle at the Düsseldorf Gathering. Muddy brown body. Rocky, light brown head. Very hoppy aroma: oranges, citrus: just great; very complex and well balanced aroma. Heavily bitter, lightly sweet initial flavour. Moderately bitter, moderately sweet flavour. Nice fruitiness in this perfect balanced beer: heavenly!

Hazy dark amber with a thin light moka head. Very smooth floral hops in aroma, with pinhey caracter, restrained and classy. In mouth, again, wonderful hops, restrained and balanced, medium bodied. Top notch. Sampled with Mtl crew, April 16 2006.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a hazy, dark amber with a creamy, almost yellowish head. Hoppy, fruity and rather complex aroma. Full-bodied with some caramel and great notes of grape fruit from the Amarillo. The finish is not overly bitter, but surprisingly the alcohol really shines through. A lovely beer. 130406

Bottled. Cloudy reddish brown, rich creqamy head. Strong orangey nose. Medium sweet with soft mouthfeel and firm body. Contrary to the Simcoe IPA and Centennial IPA the hops allow for the malt character to shine through with it’s butterscotch and caramel. Alcohol plays a non-neglectable part, and the finish is less overwhelming than in the other two IPAs I just had from Mikkeller. Orange zest dominates the finish.

Huge yellow head, strangely regular and collapsing over dark amber beer with a slight haze. Citric-dry hops, very overwhelming, appetising. Bitter chocolate and dry cacao powder coming up. Hopbails filled with Belgian chocolate truffels? Bitter chocolate and dry hopstaste -wow. There’s a streak of bacon rind there somewhere, but the balance underneath is awesome; malts, hops and then the ?yeast? flavours. Rich, velvety to oily MF - just a bit disturbed as in the long the bitterness gets it a bit metallic. Another nice try. I hope it’s allowed to be rated by non-Danish ;^}? Thanks to the bros. Keep them coming, please.

Bottle
Hazy orang brown, nice tanned lacing head. Incredibly rich hop aroma: citrus, peaches, roses - amazing that this all is from the same plant. Light roasted bready malt can barely be tasted before a truckload of hops hits the tongue. Citric and peach notes prevail, a light metallic note on the puckering grassy bitter exit. Grassy light metallic aftertaste. Lovely, and not just because I am starved for extremely hopped beers down here. Thank you so much for hauling the bottle down here Rene!

Hazy dark amber colour with a tan head. Big hoppy aroma with some malty caramel in the background. Hoppy flavor with hints of citrus and resin. Long dry bitter finish. Very nice one.
