Ocre, color tierra casi opaca. Un dedo de espuma crema. Aroma especiado, escaso.

Appearance is a deep ruby red, a bubbly off-white covering which doesn’t really last. Aroma- very malty, raisiny bread, grapefruit, tropical fruits, hint of toffee. Taste- plenty of fruit- orange and grapefruit, but also some dark fruits, sultanas for instance. Firm malt presence which helps boost the mouthfeel. Short finish with a hint of cherry. Good stuff.

33cl bottle from Struise Beershop, Brugge. Pours hazy amber to brown with an off-white head. Fruity and hoppy aroma with citrus, tropical fruits and hints of pine and herbs, some caramel and notes of yeast too. Moderate to medium sweet with balanced fruity and hoppy flavours and a nice bitterness. Medium+ body with carbonation on the soft side. Nice IPA. [BB: 07/17 - dry hopped with cascade]

Bottle, bb 8/17. Amber with an off white head. Powerful aroma of toffee, dried fruit, pine, grapefruit, spices. Some boozy musty grape notes too. Rich and surprisingly boozy for 7%. Sweet dried fruit and toffee, tenor register citrus, pine. Only vaguely reminiscent of the de Molen beer and not at all of the "aromatic hops and neutral malt" strand of IPAs. Very satisfying drop.

Hazy brownish/reddish with a two finger white foam dissipating slowly, leaving slight lace on the glass. Aroma is fruity, though not new world hoppy-fruity, but more dark fruit, pear, mango and malt. Taste is moderately fruity, dark fruits, slight malt accented, also some berries and apples, slight coffee, finishes almost pilsener like, with grass, dust and very dry, resting on a bittersweet, fruity ground. Medium to big body, light to medium carbo. Not perfectly balanced, but still not so one dimensionall the way this style usually tends to be.
