Brewed specifically for export, this is a slightly lower alcohol alternative American Pale Ale with great flavour. Tasting Notes: An American Pale Ale with hints of resinous pine and citrus/grapefruit notes coming through from the variety of American hops. Food pairing: spicy food, biryanis, curries, Szechuan dishes, yet with the slightly lower ABV it is light enough to pair with savoury snack foods.

Can at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a very slightly hazy medium amber colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light toffee, tropical citrus hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, rich, toffee, fruity, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Aromas of bread, orange, grapefruit and a hint of cherry. The hops are quite bitter on tasting, with some grapefruit and and lemon prominent. The taste doesn't quite live up to the scent, but it's a nice APA.

On tap at Cove. Pours gold orange. Dank, grapefruit, orange peel, peach. Decent balance between bitterness and sweet caramel. Fine.

Can. Clear amber with a white head. Aroma of tropical fruit - mainly mango and pineapple - bread, pine. Decent body for 4.7%, fairly high carbonation. Sweet bread, tropical fruit and some citrus. Rounded off by pine and strongish bitterness. Solid beer.
