Brewed with lactose, London Ale III yeast, & Lemon Drop and Mosaic hops, soured with Lactobacillus Delbruecki and fermented on top of Yuzu citrus fruits, this brew blurs the lines between IPA, sour ale and fruited ale.

Falls victim to the same problem as most sour IPAs, in that once Lactobacillus is introduced to the equation, all traces of the IPA are wiped out in favor of sheer face-puckering sourness. This pint's all tart citrus and yuzu, to the point you wonder why the brewery would spend money on Mosaic and Lemondrop hops when they have nothing to offer in the final product. A decent sour, but hardly an IPA.

Draught @ Albion (8/23/19). Clear pale golden with very small frothy off-white head, acidic lemon drop aroma, medium carbonation, medium sour malty taste with lemon drops flavor, thin body, long medium sour finish. Nice one.
