Sweet, bitter, slight bit acidic taste. Salty aftertaste, medium mouthfeel, high bitterness.6/3/6/3/11=2.9New rerateAgain tried this on cask, now at Ölrepubliken, Göteborg, on September 7, 2010.Put it against a fresh IPA on draught to compare it, which was also nice. Rating only for cask version though.Clear deep golden color, white head. Sweet, fruity, hoppy, berry, fresh, amazing scent! Smooth, sweet, hoppy, bitter, herbal, floral taste; my dear this is good stuff right here! Smooth mouthfeel. An amazing fresh herbal hop bitterness that lingers and makes love in the back of my throat. Bitterness is medium high to the dry side, almost a bit chalky.I really wish we coud see more super fresh cask ales in Sweden, this is simply fantastic!Taste is also black currant leaves, somered currant berries, and a dryish finish that close the book on close to perfect.A touch of mint in the scent rounds that off very nice as well. Nice!9/3/9/4/18=4.3Sorry to say the beer is not very even between the times I’ve tasted itRerateBottled on March 2, 2017. Part of a blind tasting.Clear copper color, white head. On tap at 3 Små Rum, Gothenburg. Pours an unclear, golden body under a small white head. Malty background in the aroma, with a nice hoppyness giving floral notes and pinecones. Malty and a bit grainy in the mouth, full bodied, with pinecones, pineapple notes and a decent bitterness. Pineapples and bitterness in the finish. Far from being an extreme IPA, it’s actually a bit anonymous, but it has great drinkability and quenching qualities. (080709)

Medium white coarseish head. Paleish yellow body. Resiny straw aroma with fruity notes and some roasted almonds. Dry-sweet roasted almonds and dry straw taste with resiny notes. Dusty mouthfeel. Dry grainy chalky aftertaste. The owner of Tre Små Rum (Reza) gave me a sample from bottle as well, to go with the draft version I ordered. That had a lot more aroma with more emphasis on fruit and malts. The taste was not more powerful than from draft, but showed the same difference in emphasis. The bottled version was also lightly acidic and rubbery. I preferred the draft version. (0.3l draft at Tre Små Rum, Göteborg.)
