Collaboration with Russian River that brought together our Pivo and RR’s STS to create this delicious unfiltered pilsner, brewed for FWIBF 2016. STiVO Keller Pils blends Alsatian Aramis with German Saphir hops in the brewhouse and dry-hopping for a floral, spicy hop aroma with notes of lemon zest and black peppercorns over a faint sulfur minerality from the German lager yeast used for fermentation. German pilsner malt lends a delicate sweetness and full body that fades into a dry, bitter finish. Left unfiltered in the kellerbier style, STiVO is a translucent gold color with a persistent head of creamy white foam.

On tap at Tap and Handle, Fort Collins. Clear golden, white head. Malty, just a bit sweet, some more bitterness in finish would be nice. Not bad.

On tap at Rocky Hill Inn in Rocky Hill, NJ. Bright golden color with a small creamy white head. Brisk distinctive hoppy tang nose reminiscent of berry and citrus. Crisp malt back bone has notes of earthy grain.Middle brings notes of spice, citrus and herbs. Clean dry finish is long lasting. Outstanding.

Draft at Spitfire. Finally, a beer named after me! And a keller too... Pale golden with small creamy head. Light malts, grains for the aroma. More bready flavors in the taste, hint of lemon. Incredibly smooth. Excellent all the way through.

Didn't look like a kellerbier, mostly clear body with white head. Aroma was grass and hay. Sure tasted like a kellerbier, malt forward with a spicy crunch. Drink this if you can find it.

Sampled from the tap at First Draft Minneapolis. Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of grass with a hint of lemon and grains and straw backing. Flavor combines grass and straw and is supported by hay and a touch of lemon.
