Original brew, ABV 9.6%, brewed exclusively for Stockholm Beer bar Akkurat’s 15th anniversary. Brewed in March 2010. 112° Plato. Matured on oak casks for 10 months, 5 of them on Cognac casks. Bottled on December 1st 2010. Pre-released from keg at Borefts Beer Festival 2010.
Made again in 2017 and released in 25 cl bottles.
Future releases (2022, 2023) were released under Konjaks-Kaggen Stormaktsporter due to the beer coming out differently.

Gravity. Black color with beige head. Aroma is cognac, grapey, black chocolate, very balanced. Taste is chocolate, light cognac wood, quite the booze. Silky mouthfeel with fine-bubbled carbonation. Extremely well-made, although boozy!

Sampled from cask at Borefts 2018. Pitch black with a beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty aroma of chocolate, nougat, praline and cognac. Quite sweet, malty, gently roasty taste of praline, dark chocolate, licorice, vanilla and cognac, followed by a long, rather roasty-bitter, boozy finish. Medium to full body, creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice, but quite boozy.

Borefts 2018. Day 1. Single sip. Black with tan head. Massive rye and roastedness, dark honey, floral moccha, beeswax. Lovely smoothness. Big sweet and roasted. Full body and soft carbonation. Damn tasty.

Tap at Borefts. Very dark brown with light brown head. Chocolate, earthy, coffee, cognac alright, vanilla, lovely caramel and fudge, flowery, chocolate mousse. Quite sweet and medium bitter. Full bodied. Sweet but balanced great dessert.

Finally, been hoping for this one for years, and it did not disappoint. Honey, licorice, salty, sweet, light cognac, subtly wooded. So much flavors, all in great balance. Absolutely beautiful.
