15/3/2026. Bottle bought at Özbaylar Market, Antalya Old Town. Product of Türkiye. “Enjoyed” back in the BnB’s garden. Pours okay. It’s sweet, very syrupy, limey. Some tart lime, tequila, cardboard and metal on the taste. Not really enjoyable.

Tasted like soft drink sprite mixed with some liquor. Nothing like a beer.

Bottle says desperado original, but has been brewed in spain. Aroma is skunky and contains the herbal notes of tequila, tequila is stronger than beer, however, this works quite nice in this one. Flavor is lager beer, lime, tequila and wood, fairly strong flavor, a good dose of bitterness too, although herbal bitterness,, not sure where from. This bottle has identical label design to the desperados mojito and its cousins, it might be that the desperados has been globally renamed to Desperados original and somebody picked up a bottle in turkey and created this entry. maybe, this entry should be merged with the desperados entry and that entry should be renamed Desperados original

Bottle. Pours clear golden with small foamy whitish head, sweet malt-agave aroma, high carbonation, mildly bitter sweet malty taste with strong lime and agave flavors, thin body, abrupt finish. Too sticky sweet.
