Can to tall tulip.
Appearance: semi-bright yellow with some glossy copper tones in the color; two finger white foamy head which slid off delicately to leave some messy lace
Aroma: sweet biscuits, subtle honey, toasted malts, lighter tones of sweet wood
Flavor: blended aromas wind through mellow sweetness and follow through in the aftertaste
Texture: light to medium bodied, somewhat sessionable, smooth along my tongue; clean finish of the malts
Overall: to me, it's a nice Maibock, but I bet true fans of this style might think this is too light all around.

On tap at Brygg. It pours an unclear orange-golden color, with a dense, finger-thick off-white head. Nice curtains. The aroma has a rather strange fruityness that I couldn't really pinpoint, with a light maltyness in the back. Some bread and caramel hints. It's full to medium bodied, velvety, with a light bitterness matching what sweetness is present. A bit yeasty flavor I think, with the same strange fruityness. Bready malts in the back. Well, it's a quite nice one in many ways, but also a bit weird and not what I expect from a pale bock. And frankly, a bit dull. 190607

Draught @ the source. Clear rich rose-gold with foamy off-white head, very faint caramel malt aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter lightly caramelized malt taste, smooth body, long caramel finish. Very good.
