1 pint can from MBC, bb Feb 12 2019. Black body, with a medium, creamy, tan head. Aroma of bitter chocolate, coffee roast, licorice, moderate soy sauce, subtle vanilla. Tastes similar, with subtle aromatic hops. Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a quite lively carbonation. Finishes roasty, medium bitter, a bit hoppy, with dark chocolate, coffee roast, licorice, moderate soy sauce, subtle citrus, even some pine. Very nice. Straight, robust style example, with lots of roasty notes and also hops noticeable. A bit simple maybe, lacking a bit more depth, while really quaffable stuff. Score: 7 / 4 / 7 / 4 / 15

Burk från Mikkeller Beer Club:
Mörkbrun (i princip svart) färg med ett stort och tjockt skum.Doft av kaffe, choklad och lakrits. Mjuk och rund smak av kaffe och choklad med lite peppriga toner (är det chili i?). Torr finish.
En okomplicerad, god stout utan konstigheter.

Can, from Beer Run. Pours dark brown with faint reddish highlights, large foamy tan head, sweet roasted malt aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter roasted malt taste with sweetish oats, smooth body, long finish. Quite well balanced and mellow.
