Spritziger, trocken herb hopfiger Beginn. Süffig, ansteigende Herbe und Bitterkeit, erfrischend. Ziemlich trockener Hintergrund, erst zum Ende steigt der Hopfen an, leicht fruchtig, rund. Gut. 9/9/10/11/11/10

330ml bottle [Jason Thirsk, this one's for you!]. Cloudy, yellow-ish, golden colour with huge, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Piney (or Penny?), resinous, grassy and fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of pineapple, some lemon, grapefruit, a touch of tropical fruit minimally biscuity, pale malty background. Taste is dry, piney, grassy, slightly citrusy, fruity, diluted hints of pineapple, pine, lemon, grapefruit, minimally sweet, biscuity, pale malty basis. Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Nice hop flavours in the nose, sadly reproduced in taste only with considerably less intensity; easy drinkable, refreshing, more-ish, but a bit anaemic overall - good.

Pours hazy yellow, medium small, yet stable white head. Scent is citrus, mild pine and distant stonefruit. Taste is medium full, doesn't seem super fresh as the maltyness has a mild cardboard aspect. Citric, green, grassy hops. Medium body, relatively creamy for a session, with medium carbonation. Fine bitterness is balanced and works with the beer. As of now, a decent (nothing more) session. Perhaps this is a bit old trough import, wasnt always stored cold, etc, and it's better fresh ? This one is best before may 2021, drank september 27th 2020.

Bottle, from Bottle Liquor, Morro Bay. Pours cloudy pale golden with large foamy white head, faint citrus aroma, low carbonation, mildly bitter citrus taste with pineapple flavor, thin smooth body, longish finish. Very smooth and easy to drink.

The Aromas are resin hops, a little Citrus and bread. Flavors are like knows, muted, Bittersweet balanced with strong carbonation but body is a touch thin. It's okay but not a lot to it and a good example of why I'm not a fan of session ipas.

Bomber from Craft Beer Kings. Pours gold with a moderate white head. Aroma of citrus with a touch of earth and resin. Near med body - just a bit short. Flavor is strong, but it's not all the way to dank. It's rather fresh - like; a mix of citrus, earth, resin with a touch of pepper? It's very light in its way, but the flavor level is impressive. Very tasty without going harsh as so many attempts to make a flavorful session IPA do. I think it would be good for this to be a year round product.
