On tap at Uno’s, Shelbourne, VT.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking hazy amber color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than thirty seconds leaving some light speckled lacing roaming around the glass.
The smell had a semi - sweet caramel malts to balance with a decent bitter citrus hops.
The taste was balanced between the sweet and the bitter malts to hops. Decent little kick of citrus in the aftertaste and leading to the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. There’s a decent bitter citrus rolling over my tongue.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good American Amber that I would have again.

Hazy Amber ruby red. 1 finger head. Smells really nice. Smell is pine, ginger, some dark malts. Taste is a hard to describe. Sweet with a well integrated bitterness. A nice mix of sweet and citrus with pine cone effervescent chewiness and lingering citrus finish

Draft at Black Back Pub. Pretty deep amber color with some lasting head retention. Oh boy… Butter diacetyl right from the start of the nose. Caramel and biscuits also in the nose. After much warming floral hops make an appearance.

The flavor is ok. Mild floral hops try to get through the caramel, toasted grain and abundant sweet malts. Medium in body with correct carbonation level. This beer is a tad on the sweet side. If the hops could be more dominate this would help a lot. My first brew from this brewery, I will be hoping for a bit more QC before releasing a beer into a Vermont beer scene that has many top tier offerings. Still willing to try more from them however.

A copper red ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, nice caramel malt with smooth floral hops, fragrant and pleasing. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with grassy floral and resinous hops, well balanced. On tap at Vermont tap house.

Draught at Whetstone Station, 2/8/14
Light amber colored body shows good clarity and a strong white head with decent retention.
Assertive hoppiness combines with a lightly toasty malt and a sweet, fruity yeast to produce a very interesting, complex amber ale nose. The hops dry out the finish very nicely, crisp and floral with light orange zest and lemon. Unfortunately for the otherwise lovely aroma, our not-so-good friend diacetyl is also rather prevalent. Not to the point of ruining the aroma and at least it’s an amber ale so it works with the fruity esters and malts, but certainly clashes with the crisp, floral hops.
Well-attenuated, with a very nice malt flavor showcasing honey, baked bread and hay, with very dry, spicy happiness and a touch of buttercream. Medium body, ample carbonation and no alcohol noted. Clean up the diacetyl and it would be pretty stellar.
