Crisp, very slightly hazy golden coloured body with a thick, five centimetre tall honey coloured head that stays afloat nicely! Aroma of honey, grass, hay, pungent yeast light alcohol and a dose of pure biscuits and grain. Medium-bodied; Strong biscuity and grainy malt notes that definitely show a lager, with a deep pungent dry and floral bite at the end with some softer sweetness from apples, pears and a tiny dose of honey noticeable at the end, but the alcohol hits a bit hard as well. Aftertaste is strong and definitely focused on the biscuity malt flavours with a lot of astringent alcohol and dry floral notes - a deep and strong bock throughout that has a nice sweetish profile. Overall, a nice beer that shows a deep honey and pale lager/biscuity malt profile that ends with more alcohol than most, but still enjoyable as the sweetness hits well. Nice to try, for sure! I sampled this sixteen ounce can, purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 23-June-2019 for USS$3,59 sampled at home in Washington on 28-August-2019.
