Can. Pours dark brown, opaque, with a minimal beige head. Aroma of whiskey and dark malts. Taste follows nose with some dark chocolate, vanilla. Really beginning to wonder the point of barrel aging beers with high proof liquors - just completely destroys the taste of the beer....

Can, thanks to Nimbleprop. Pours inky black with foamy tan head, woodsy mocha-whisky aroma, low carbonation, medium bitter mocha and sweet whisky taste with woodsy flavor, thin body, long boozy finish. Potent and boozy, but good.

16oz can pours an opaque black with some tan head. Nose has a lot, booze and whiskey, cherries, vanilla, caramel, malt, molasses, earthy. Flavor has a ton of charred barrel, smoke, wood, sweet caramel and chocolate notes, some smoke, lots of whiskey but the sweet beer base sort of smooths it a bit. Finishes full bodied, boozy with a bite.

Draft at Beltway Brewing Company. Poured a nearly pitch black color, small tan head. Aroma was roasted malts, smooth vanilla woody notes. Whiskey is there, but it isn't overpowering in the sense that it isn't like burning spirits. Chocolate, with some maple syrup here. Really nice.

Heavy upfront whiskey smell here. Enough that I flinched like Matrix Neo. Some roast, lots of booze. Black pour with ok head. Boozy bitter end with sweetness, light caramel. Tap at brewery.

From a crowler filled at Dominion WIne and Beer. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate and licorice. Flavors are bitter roast with dark pit fruit sweetness.
