Our OG Imperial IPA, Dreadnaught ups the ante with intense citrus hop aromas, a huge malt body, and a crisp finish. Notes of pine, mango, and pineapple are balanced by A strong malt bill which creates a wonderful partner to the strong hop bitterness.

Iβve have the pleasure of drinking this twice thanks to intrepid travelers bringing this one back my way. From 22 oz bottle. This is a fantastic beer. Aroma is a light fruit, heavy hop one, full citrus body. The palate has a nice hop oil taste, but it does not overpower. Very complex. Alcohol is so well masked I had no idea it was this strong until after investigating further and discovering itβs 9+ ABV.

22oz bomber. Not much of a hiss when cracking it open but wow. I had this one when they used to distribute to Maryland in the early 2000s and wasnβt that blown away with it. Just had it again in 2010 and Iβm blown away. Hazy, glowing amber-orange color, with a patchy, soapy head. The aroma really does capture those exotic fruit scents. There is certainly some citrus in the flavor as well. The palate of this beer is what sets it apart...so clean and drinkable. Somehow mellow and full and complex at the same time. Wow, one of the best IIPAs out there..for real. Big ups, you overpriced bandits!

20th October 2008. Hazy orange beer. Super smooth silky IPA. Almost creamy palate. Bags of hop flavour but not really that bitter. Juicy grapefruit, orange and peach with a just a hint of tea. The finish is very slightly bitter and a little bit spicy - just enough to make you crave the next fruity mouthfull. Highly superior IPA.

Rating #900. Bottle from a trade with StFun. Pours orangish color with off white head. Strong citrus aroma of grapefruit and oranges and some sugary sweetness. Nice amount of hop bitterness without overdoing it. Lots of citrus and some pine balanced with a touch of sweet caramel maltiness, no too sugary or syrupy. Medium body with average carbonation and a resinous mouthfeel. Excellent!

courtesy of hopshunter. Pours golden, white head. Aroma and flavor, lots of hops, plenty of citrus and lemongrass. Some caramel malts come add a nice finish. Overall beer is more on the sweet caramel side than the hop bomb I was expecting. Still a great beer.

Bottle from WLV Liquors in Chicago. One of the reasons I flew to Chicago for a short break this week was to get hold of this beer. I had been salivating over the reviews and knew that Iβd like it. Great sweet, hoppy, fruity aroma. Tastes of peach, hoppy, grapefruit, incredibly smooth and luxurious, bloody hell there is load going on in this DIPA. An incredibly well balanced luxury beer. I managed to bring some bottles back to the UK with me, well worth the 8 hour flight from London. Possibly the best beer I have ever had. Awesome as you say in the States.
