Our OG Imperial IPA, Dreadnaught ups the ante with intense citrus hop aromas, a huge malt body, and a crisp finish. Notes of pine, mango, and pineapple are balanced by A strong malt bill which creates a wonderful partner to the strong hop bitterness.

(On tap @ Mikkeller Bar Stockholm, Dec 28 2014) Pours a hazy deep brownish-tinged medium gold with a dense head of lacy white froth. Aroma bold and fruity but complex, with florals, citrus peel blend recalls more than the standard offering, a bit of tropical mango, some resinous notes, and something like berries, vaugely dank funky Three Floyds character. A little caramel malt sweetness. On the palate, again quite hoppy and complex with lots of citrus resin, zest and pith - seemed like lime amongst the orange and grapefruit, maybe other things too. Strawberry and kiwi. Caramel is moderate and really just supports the hops. Moderately high bitterness builds from the middle on but doesn’t obscure the fruit either. Long hoppy finish with basically no alcohol. Medium, slightly chewy body with medium carbonation. Phenomenal DIPA really, nice fruity hop character with lots going on, resin, balanced sweetness and bitterness, avoids being a booze bomb. I could drink this all the time (though not at Swedish prices!).

Lovely unclear dark golden color with a fine off white head that leaves nice lacing down the glass. Powerful grapefruit and tropical aroma. Full body and a nice balance between sweetness and bitterness. Oily texture and a bit dry ending. Heavy sipper this one. Powerful fruity and lovely grapefruit hoppy. Powerful stuff that could easily felled over to the heavy sweet side or harse bitterness. Also well masked alcohol. Recommendable.

1 pint 6 fl oz bottle from Mikkeller webshop. Pours an orange golden colour, foam white head leaving lacing and aroma of caramel, juicy mango, peach, orangey, pine hop resins. Malt caramel flavour, some toffee, alittle biscuit plus lots of tangy fruity notes, tropical mango, orange marmalade, apricot, peach, pine and peppery with grapefruit bitterness. Smooth and slightly oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry spicy tangy bitter finish. Very drinkable, impressive DIPA.

Draught almost muddy brown colour with small head. Aroma is fruity of pine and mango, and also dry and hoppy with taste of toffee caramel and citrus, really nice but I think I have tasted better then this.

Bottle. Pours an ever so slightly hazy golden with a big off white head. Aroma is tremendous, with sweet hoppy apricots and soft tropical mango, as well as elderflowers, lychee and bittering orange peel. Medium to full body with soft carbonation. Flavour is sweet hops with apricots and mango, bitter orange peel and pine, as well as a nice malt back with toffee. Bitter finish with grapefruit and resin. A fantastic brew! Subtle and easy drinking, yet hoppy and aggressive. Probably the best DIPA ever, and definitely worth the hype!

Tap at CBC 2014. Beer in the glass deep golden, nice head. Fine hoppy-fruity aroma. Starts mild-fruity, wonderful notes of peaches and apricot, mild sweet notes. Finish less sweet, more dry, some bitter notes. Well balanced. Nice one!
