Our OG Imperial IPA, Dreadnaught ups the ante with intense citrus hop aromas, a huge malt body, and a crisp finish. Notes of pine, mango, and pineapple are balanced by A strong malt bill which creates a wonderful partner to the strong hop bitterness.

Keg at the Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014, red session. 03/05/2014. Bright golden orange coloured pourt with a lasting thin white sticky head. Aroma is lemon citrus, pine, honey malts. Flavour is aggressive smooth, lemon, pine, bitterness. Uber drinkable. Dangerous. Palate is very smooth, melts on the tongue. Good good shit.

0.65 l bottle from Mikkeller Webshop. Dark golden to amber, slightly hazy body, with a medium, creamy, rocky, slightly beige head, that leaves a lot of lacing. Amazing aroma, resin, grapefruit, tropical fruits, honey and caramel like malts and the pine notes are as specific as a walk in a pine forest with needles on the ground! Taste follows this exactly. Mouthfeel is medium, slick, with a medium carbonation and it finishes long, bitter, dry, slightly alcoholic, but still smooth, with pine, resin and lemon zest. Propably the most interesting and specific pine aromas in an IPA I’ve experienced so far! And still there is a lot more, complex fruit notes and a perfect malt backbone, all in an amazing balance! Indeed a world class DIPA, that deserves the hype.

Woohoo, found the notes on this. I’m super glad.
I got this in a trade about two years ago.
I poured half of this into a tulip and about the other half into a snifter.
The appearance was a nice looking hazy to almost transparent looking golden orange to brown with a decent looking sediment rolling around and within the carbonation. The head is fairly a white to an off-white sort of fluffiness filling the top of the glass evenly and ends up leaving a decent sort of white foamy lacing all around the glass.
The smell was an authentic sort of citrus hops to somewhat a nice caramel maltiness that doesn’t leave anything to be desired. It does what it needs to do.
The taste was a pure bittersweet and does what it should to please the tastebuds in a very nice showing of citrus to caramel-ness coating them. There is a slight aftertaste of bittersweetness, but isn’t overbearing. There is a quick dry finish.
On the palate, she sits about a medium with a sipper sort of sessionability to it. The carbonation is quite fulfilling and nice.
Overall, I say this was a great DIPA, well worthy of having again.

Draft at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014, Session 3. Pours clear gold with a fluffy, off-white head. Rich citrus on the nose, nice and dank, with tangerine and suggestions of anise. Medium to big sweet flavor with pale bread, sticky ripe citrus, pine needles, grapefruit, lemon. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Lightly warming to finish, with sticky and resinous hops, lots of ripe, gooey citrus fruits. Solid. A ballsy beer, but still damn drinkable.

Great golden in the glass. Intense fruity in the nose, the beer starts intense fruity with great floral hop profile. The mainpart is very fruity, not too sweet, but intense, slightly malty. The aftertaste is malty, floral, fruity-malty. Freshly hopped, Just great. Probably a bit too sweet - but as it is balanced, it is great. --> 12/12/13/13

22 oz. bottle in trade from Fletche00. Nice orange color, with a medium, beige head. The lacing is thick and persistent. The aroma is mangoes, sweet potatoes, caramel, pine, and a lot of herbs. Intense bitterness, cut with a mild, grainy sweetness. Heavy body, sticky, thick, acidic, with a harsh, metallic mouthfeel. The finish is sticky and bitter, and very persistent. Overall, this is an immense, flavorful DIPA. The mouthfeel and aftertaste are very overpowering, and not very pleasant. Still, this a delicious, irresistible, and great tasting beer.

Dark golden colour, white head. Aroma of hops, malts, yeast, candy, citrus and other tropical fruits. Hoppy flavour, quite a lot of hops and hop oils. Light sweet, malts, light honey. Bitter finish, hops, malts, some honey. Nice IIPA.
