The title Saccarappa graces the falls near the brewery, a fitting parallel for the citrusy, tropical rush of this India pale ale. Intense notes of orange and mango with a clean, hoppy and a dry finish. Brewed with Belma, Centennial, and Mosaic hops.

Pours hazy gold into a shaker. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving soapy lacing. Citrus and mango aromas. Dry with sweet mango and passionfruit upfron turning to hot caramel and resin before the lasting pith finish.

16 oz can purchased at Spruce Creek Provisions. The color is a hazy orange, thin head. Even as this warmed I had a hard time pulling much from the aroma, mild citrus and the lightest hint of a floral tone. The flavor is respectable. It is centered around some earthy Mosaic hops with a mild citrus in the background. Semi dry texture with a mild level of bitterness. This doesn’t blow me away but it is a nice everyday, milder IPA offering. Decent.

Draught at King’s Head, 7/10/16 as Green-to-Green IV.
Deep brassy-golden body shows a light haziness and a rocky white head that is fairly well-retained.
Lots and lots of marajuana-like dankness. Soft fruits vary from kiwi, nectarine, lime zest and guava. Not lushly or explosively juicy or anything but with good aromatics that are free from pine and grapefruit resin nor is the alcohol noted. Some caramel-like malt notes do show through in the nose, which I’m not a big fan of, but I do like the subtle, spicy, dank notes here.
Again, very soft, "fuzzy" and spicy with lime, nectarine and sweet base malts. Still a decent level of attenuation but does get a touch too malty for my tastes. Low to moderate bitterness and light bubble gum on the finish with fairly engaging carbonation and a slick-to-malty texture overall.
