Our Hefe is full and clean with citrus notes and classic banana esters on the front end. This one’s bready and unfiltered, hopped for balance and finishes dry. Sweet orange peel additions exaggerate a refreshing mild acidity. Around here you have to keep your summertime drinkers pouring year round.

At the source: super light color hefe. Light banana and clove notes... not overpowering. This is a sort of beach hefe in my opinion. Goood for what it is. Very smooth.

Can at home watching a dark film completely opposite of this bright sunny brew. Brighter greenish gold pour. Nose is high citrus some banana. Tastes of banana, pineapple, lime, cloves, grass and yeast and bubblegum. Bright palate. Could see this being perfect for Miami backyard bbq.

Pretty can as pictured. In a glass mug. First taste is bubbly and tartish but repulsive in a good way. I think to myself......German Hefeweizen.....no way. Odd strange metallic nose. First I thought this would be a wheat ale but its not. Quite unique in its feel, possibly this is old stuff? Dated 10/20/16. Is it possible that hefe can spoil sour and make this clear pale liquid? I guess it tastes like the colors on the can.

Pours a hazy pale golden color with a medium thick frothy white head that diminishes gradually. Sticky strings of lacing. Aroma of wheat, citrus and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of wheat, clove, banana and malt. Touches of citrus too. The finish is wheaty with a mild spice and citrus aftertaste. Decent overall.

Can. A- Oranges, banana, bubblegum. A- Orange color, cloudy liquid, white head. T- Banana, bubblegum, spice, orange, wheat. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- At first I thought I was grabbing a Berliner Weisse and honestly I probably would have enjoyed that more, nonetheless, this was pretty tasty and well balanced as so many hefeweizens seem not to be anymore.

12 oz can poured, purchased in St. Pete. Wanted to try these guys for a while, so very glad to find the can. Golden orange pour with a slow fading head. Banana, yeast, and orange fruit aroma. Cool, semi sweet, easy drinking beer. Feels like I’m back on the beach again. Good stuff.
