Our Hefe is full and clean with citrus notes and classic banana esters on the front end. This one’s bready and unfiltered, hopped for balance and finishes dry. Sweet orange peel additions exaggerate a refreshing mild acidity. Around here you have to keep your summertime drinkers pouring year round.

Can, 0.355l. Aroma of citrus, wheat, passion fruit and flowers. Pours hazy orange golden color with medium sized quickly diminishing tan-like head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts mild to medium sweet grainy and yeasty, following is ripe fruity, herbal and bready, mouthfeel is mild spicy, while finish is moderate bitter. Medium body, slick texture and lively carbonation in palate. Beer for weiss men…

Seen this beer on shelves for years, avoided it due to the goofy name, goofy can art, and mainly the fact that I don't really seek out weissbier all that much. But then my wife brought one home from me after making me a mixed sixer at Trader Joes. Mostly clear golden. Medium head. Nose is banana, just a wee bit of bubblegum, light phenolics. Flavor pretty similar, balanced, linger phenolics in the aftertaste. Feels a bit watery in palate, not that its weak, but rather it just doesn't have the right mouthfeel for a weiss, maybe its the lack of yeast? Its alright.

12 ounce can from Woodman's Green Bay, 12/24/20 (barely). Hazy orange, large frothy white head, good retention. Aroma of bubblegum, stone fruits, spice. Taste is bubblegum, banana, orange. Medium bodied. Traditional but could even benefit from a bit more spice. Solid.

(Draught at Man in the Moon, Stockholm, 10 Jan 2019) Pale amber colour with frothy, off-white head.Fruity, wheaty nose with notes of apricots, banana and bread. Fruity, wheaty taste with apricots, orange peel, banana and bread. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Fruity and tasty weissbier (but possibly not strictly Bavarian style). Nice one.

Perfectly clear deep copper and almost amber coloured body with a decent two centimetre tall, very soapy white head that fades to literally nothing on top - just like a soda - pretty bad, actually. Aroma of wheat, bubble gum, oranges, a dash of curacao and some softer earthy and malt components that make this okay, but not great, in the nose, at least. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong wheatie and yeastie flavours dominate with a large cardboardie and funky flavour at first that shows some light orange and curacao notes, a dash of citrus, a little grain and some more assertive sugars that show caster sugar notes and a slight touch of fruit-based sugars. Aftertaste shows the more dry and slighlty softer flavours from the malt with a dry and orangey finish that has some light sweetness, but mostly the stale or funky wheat-based malt profile that doesn't have any complexities or depth from the yeast strain at all. Overall, a pretty poor beer overall, and definitely not a respectable FILTERED wheat beer as this definiteliy shows as a Wheat Ale, and even then, not a good one with bad/old wheat notes, no real yeast depth and no other complexities from other notes - just the wheat shows through, in a not-so-good way. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Knightly Spirits in Orlando (Orange Blossom Trail), Florida on 28-December-2017 for US$2,29 sampled just over two years later at home in Washington on 04-February-2020.
