077XX is our double IPA focused on harmonizing the extremes inherent in the nature of the American double IPA for long-term drinkability! 077-07871 is the dubviant tuned up with a third Mosaic dry hop, all inspired by the places that get in in Sparta. Mosaic brings a bit of dank resin that lifts up the already wonderful orange & mango flavors that come with 077XX.

16 ounce can. Honey gold pour has a touch of haze. Finger high frothy beige head. Aroma of citrus oil and pine. First sip is earthy, dank citrus, notably lime. Further along, notes of peach and mango. Finishes with resiny pine and black pepper.

Got in a BIF from zekeman17. 16 ounce can into tulip glass, no can dating. Pours slightly hazy deep golden amber color with a 1 finger dense and rocky white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, ruby grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, light peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread, lightly toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge tangerine, ruby grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, light peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread, lightly toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, ruby grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Amazing complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, sticky/resinous/rindy, and fairly crisp balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 7.8%. Overall this is an amazing DIPA! All around incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth, easy, and fairly crisp to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish, not overly aggressive. Perfect mosaic hop showcase. Extremely juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy balanced hop complexity; nice bready malt backbone, with minimal residual sweetness from lingering dryness. Very well attenuated for the ABV. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing style example. Loved the hop profile as expected of my favorite hop.

Draught @ Milk & Hops - Chelsea. Clear golden with foamy whitish head, faint piney aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter taste with light piney flavor, thin body, long medium bitter finish. Decent, nothing frilly.

Draught at Row 34, 2/4/17.
Lightly hazy, bronze-brass-golden body is topped by a medium-sized white head of moderate retention.
Juicy and bright in the nose with tons of pineapple, mango and key lime-like hop character. Some grapefruit and light pine emerge with warming, on the end, but it’s pretty minimal and this remains vibrant and light for its size. Malts are sparse but add enough balance in the form of honey and biscuit while no alcohol or flaw is noted.
Juicy again in the flavor, though not a full-on NE style juice bomb. It still maintains a healthy bitterness with white grapefruit and lemon adding to the mango, peach and pineapple. Honey-like malts provide a soft texture and balance yet are well-attenuated. Engaging carbonation and no flaw with little/no resin lingering and nicely concealed on the alcohol.

16 ounce can thanks to fbm115 . Pours a clear copper color with a small white head after it dies down a bit. A pretty big resinous citrus nose. The flavor is lovely; rich green tropical mango, citrus, orange peel, some pine. Very soft, but bitter edges. Toasted pils malt. Awesome.
