Shared at a tasting, many thanks SlackerMads, medium stable bubbly mocha head, opaque black color, grainy malty coffee aroma with a hint of mud, flavor of bitter sweet chocolate with lots of ash notes. Old school but nice and enjoyable.

Refrigerated 0.5 L brown bottle poured into a snifter. Black with small beige head. Aroma is soy sauce, medium body, medium carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is big soy sauce, herbal hops, some dark chocolate, and anise. Not my kind of impy stout.

On tap at Craft Room, Zagreb. Dark brown with creamy small brown head. Chocolate, roasted, malty, licorice, warming. Sweet. Bit harsh roasty bitterness in finish. Nothing special really. Medium to full bodied. Wonder if bottle is any better, this was a bit underwhelming.

With old label. Kilka lat lezakowane w mojej piwnicy. A smak, poczatkowo slodycz po czym pojawia sie spora palonosc slodow, trufle obsypane kakao, czekolada, kawa mocno palona, Po chwili uderza alkoholowe cieplo i wspaniale rozgrzewa. Dochodzi chmielna goryczka i znowu slodycz. Wspaniale zbilansowane piwo miedzy slodycza a gorycza. Tresciwe, niemal wspaniale. Mimo poczatkowej, lekko przesadnej slodyczy to piwo jest niemal genialne. Zapadnie mi napewno dlugo w pamieci.

Thin beige head left a cover on a near black still body. Big aroma of dark chocolate, bitter fruit, sour grapes & hints of malt. Medium bodied, so so smooth on the palate with a slight tingle on the back. Dry. Sweet malt, chocolate & vanilla to the fore followed by a slightly bitter back of dark chocolate, dark spirits, sweet grapes & hints of citrus
