Bottled 33cl, ABV 5.5% (Beer Planet, BB 12/2010)
Hazy, almost murky brown color, small beige head. At first aroma is like in overfermented sima, then raisins, caramel and yeast. Light to medium-bodied. Caramelly-yeast flavor with lots of raisins and dates, active carbonation. This is like watery version of dark trappist beers (Chimay Blue, Westy 8, Rochefort 8)!

Bottle: Murky brown with a off white creamy head. Dark fruit with cloves. Taste is fruit, malt, spice, and seems a bit minty to me. Weird but good.

Bottle, from trade with Papsoe. A more or less clear, copper colored body is topped by a small, beige head. There’s some caramel in the aroma, followed by fresh and some dried fruits, but rather mediocre. The same goes for the flavor, which has a sourish touch along with caramel and fruits. Medium body with a hint of puckering. Sweet, fruity finish with some sourness. A drinkable beer, but not one you find on the top shelf. 090720

(33cl bottle, Den Herberg Bruin, 5.5% abv) Almost cloudy, murky amber to brown colour with a beige medium-sized and stable foamy head. Slightly yeasty, sweet toasted malty aroma with caramel, a tinge of citrus and berries, accompanied with spicy elements. Sweet-bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Toast-malty base with caramel, restrained fruity notes and a rather tough spicy touch, getting stronger towards the pretty slim finish (21.V.09).
