Bottle sample at troubles's place. Thanks Odi. Clear amber. Malt, caramel, stale hops, sweet, toast, bitter finish, medium-bodied.

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Trader Joe's, Bedford NH. Appearance is pretty, clear copper-amber with tons of sparkle, finger-width foamy beige head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is caramel malt with earthy leaves. Taste is caramel, earthy minerals, cardboard, European hops. Palate is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft-to-average carbonation, hint of alcohol warmth and dry, earthy finish as taste. Overall, basic elements are there but not inspiring. OK. Gorgeous look.

Deep ruby and copper coloured body with a pungent, but clear, deep muddied brown coloured tint, all with a thinnish, but long-lasting pure tan head that shows at about a centimetre in height. Aroma of toasted malt, grain, very light herbs and a noticeable dose of hops - which aren't high in alpha acids, but do show a little bitterness and a touch of scotch-ness from the caramel and toffee scent. Medium to Full-bodied; a good balance throughout that shows a light bitterness, some funk, a dry herbal and grassy bite and ends with a touch of alcohol and light grain...nice and relatively insular considering the others deeper flavours. Aftertaste shows the caramel and toffee legs, but the hops, funk and sweetness/bitterness simply aren't there and won't be. Overall, a deep and robust beer that shows some hops and a lot more of the malt and caramel side of things. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Trader Joe's in Arlington (Clarendon), Virginia on 29-April-2019 for US$1,09 sampled at home in Washington on, 02-February-2018.

Pours reddish amber with a thin white head. Aroma of grain and sorghum. Tastes like a Vienna, relatively light with muted hops. Palate is complex, has a variety of hops, a muted (yet high) ABV, and a cedar influence that comes together in a delicious mix. Good beer

Bottle, thanks for sharing! Pour a clear amber with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has grass and bread with a bit of straw and hay backing. Flavor has lots of grass and a bit of earthy pine with straw and bread backing.

Cobriza, espuma blanquecina abundante. Bastante limpia. Aroma malteado, cereal, madera, licor. En boca mantiene los sabores del aroma. Paso fácil buen punto de amargor. Interesante.

Pours deep clear amber into a shaker. White head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Caramel and pine aromas. Soft with sweet caramel and sourdough upfront turning to mild resin in the medium length finish.

12 ounce bottle from Trader Joe's Brookfield. Clear amber, thin creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of toffee, toast, citrus, pine. Taste is mandarin orange, citrus, raisin, toasted malt. Medium bodied. Not quite a hoppy red but a decent beer.
