Backlog. Amber pour. Smells of caramel, pine, and a little earthiness. Flavor is mainly toasted caramel malt and resinous hops. Decent balance. It has kind of an interesting flavor profile but isn’t all that great.

On at p at Stanley’s. Pours a clear amber orange with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy grain and wet bread with straw and hay underlying. Flavor has earthy grains and bread with some straw and sweetness underlying.

Bottle. Caramel malt, dry lemon peel, and weedy hay aroma. Dark amber with giant light tan head. Moderately sweet caramel malt, and moderately bitter lemon peel and weedy hay flavor. Good body. Decent.

Poured from bottle from Eddie dated 7/27/17 deep amber with a tan head. Aroma is caramel malt floral notes and pine. Taste is toasted grain semi sweet malt with a lingering pine finish.

Bottle: Clear dark copper with a thick. solid tan head. Caramel, orange-peel, nut aroma. Flavour is sweet caramel malt, with an interesting citrus/pine/wooden bittering. Pretty nice.

Bottle. Pours clear reddish brown/dark amber with foamy beige head, faint caramel malt aroma, high carbonation, mildly bitter caramel-faint citrus/pine taste, smooth thin body, long medium bitter finish. Nice.

12 ounce bottle from a mix pack from the New Berlin Costco. Dark amber / brown, large creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of orange, lime, and caramel. The taste is grapefruit, grass clippings, citrus, mandarin orange, caramel. Medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness.
