Jetty Ale the 2016 GABF Gold Medal Winner is GSB's rendition of the perfect craft beer. Brewed year round this beer is light in body but not flavor. Reminiscent of an American style lager yet brewed in a non-traditional cream ale fashion, Jetty is an unique blend of choice pilsner malt, noble German hops, flaked corn and orange blossom honey. This blend gives it a whole new dimension leading to it's richly smooth character. So grab yourself a Gold Medal Jetty and savor it's greatness!

Can from my advent calendar. Slightly hazy golden pour, with a huge, rocky, white head. Aroma is slightly fruity, pale cereals, an odd cough syrup thing going on. Wtf? Mouth feel is very light and thin, carb is very soft, almost flat but still oddly lively, again.... Wtf? Bitterness is basically non existent, more of this cough syrupy, fruity thing, with some cereals. Jesus, this was weird.

This is probably the best cream ale I’ve had, no surprise it won GABF. Just done exactly the way it should be. Smooth light, balanced body. Super clean. Sk adventkal

355ml can. Pours a clear gold with a small, fizzy, short lived, white head that laces. Mild aroma of grainy malt, corn, honey and floral hops. Sweet flavour of bready malt, corn, orange, honey and floral hops in a sweet, crisp finish. Light to medium body with a creamy texture and average carbonation. Simple and easy to drink.

Can. Pours clear bright yellow with small frothy white head, honey aroma, medium carbonation, sweetish malty taste, thin body, abrupt finish. Smoothness seems to be its only sticking point.

Location: Growler from Syosset Beverage, 10/13/14

Aroma: The nose is sweet corn and tangerine, with a good bit of candied sugar
Appearance: It pours a clear golden color with a white head and some streaky lace
Flavor: Flavor-wise it is very sweet, like a tangerine candy, with absolutely no residual bitterness
Palate: This one is creamy and extremely easy drinking, soft carbonation, and a sugary finish
Overall Impression: I'm of a few minds on this beer. The mouthfeel is pretty much exactly what you'd want from the style. Very creamy. Very easy drinking. The word "crushable" would not be dismissed. On the other hand, it could use some balance. This beer is very sweet. Maybe I'm a cream ale sucker, but I like this, and I don't usually enjoy beers this sweet.
