Bottle. Dark pour. Aroma of liquorice, iron and roasted malt. Taste has bitter coffee, liquorice, sweet caramelised malt and a little iron. Not that bad.

Tap @ Delfts bierfestival 2014, small sample. Dark color, medium frothy light brown head. Aroma is very fruity, blackcurrant, berries, quite some coffee notes, roasted malts. Medium malty bitter taste, slight dry, bit sweet. Medium to high carbonation, medium body. Quite nice.

On tap @ Delfts bierfest 2014, with caesar, judyvv & joes. Black color. Creamy beige head with pretty good lacing. Aroma’s: sweet malts, roasted, droppig/licorice. More roast retronasal, drop, laurel/bay leaves. Flavor is moderate to full sweet, roasted. Medium bodied. Finishes with firm roast, slightly dry, moderate bitter. Quite nice actually.

Bottle shared thanks to Deanso. Pours near black with a beige head. Aroma of roast, dark chocolate, overripe dark fruits, raisins, caramel and soy. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Over medium bodied with light carbonation.

Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a murky dark brown with a frothy tan head. The aroma is yeast, dry mineral, hop. The flavour is strong bitter with a big frothy roasted malt liqourice hop spice palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Way too much carbonation and way too hoppy for a stout. There was more gas in this than a Budweiser! The liqourice bitterness was rather distasteful too.

Black with huge light brown head. Roasted malts, caramel, coffee. Quite fruity and tart, citrus, bitter finish. Massively over-carbonated... Too bad because you hardly taste any beer because of it.

Bottle tasted at Nederlandse Bierproeffestival on 17/05/2014. Excessive carbonation and excesive white head for a stout. The aroma and the taste is very coffee and is not well balanced with the chocolate. I enjoy a lot de design of the labels. I think the next time they will be made a better stout. Next one please!

Bottle shared with dEnk @ his place. Opaque black color, average sized tan head. Smell and taste malts, bitterness, some roast. Too much carbonation. Hmm.
