Bottle. Pours slightly cloudy orange with large foamy off-white head, faint piney aroma, high carbonation, bitter resinous taste, thin body, long bitter finish. Not too desirable.

From a 12 oz bottle shared at home. Pours a clear gold with an off white head. Grassy nose. Flavors of grapefruit and pineapple. Bitter finish.

Best by date of 12-15-15.
This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy burnt orange to ruddy copper color with a one finger white foamy head that quickly dissipated leaving some stringy lacing sliding into the beer.
The smell had a sweet caramel malt up front with what I’m assuming Fuggles hops creating the \"soapiness\" normally associated with the style. It gets slightly grassy.
The taste combined the flavors and lead to a sweet soapy aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. Carbonation seemed decent for the style allowing some harshness trickle in.
Overall, it’s an English styled IPA, it doesn’t bother me but I wouldn’t recommend this to hopheads.

Tap at the brewpub. normal orange like pour with floral hops on the nose. tastes resinous, some caramel, florals, and pine sol. maybe some generic tropical fruit candy on the finish.
