Evergreen IPA is built from Peak’s flagship IPA, but enhances the hoppy pine notes by blending in organic juniper berries and organic spruce. The result is a unique IPA with bright pine and resin hop character. The finish is distinctly crisp, begging for another sip.

Can from Half Time. Unclear orange, thick and frothy. Fairly strong on the lacing. Nice, clean hop aroma. Pine, spruce, and grass. A bit of berry style fruitiness. A tinge of spice. Nice, smooth mouthfeel. Moderate dryness. Pretty nice actually.

Pours hazy gold into a shaker. Bright white soapy head with medium retention recedes leaving spider lacing. Sour pine aromas. Dry with pine needles and resin upfront turning to overripe fruit and sticks in the lasting finish.

Can from a Lazy Dog Lightly hazy golden color with a small quickly dissipating bubbly white head. Huge pine and resin as was expected. Light earthy citrus underneath as well as some sweet bready maltiness. The flavor is all pine and resin with a strong lingering bitterness that is barely countered by the sweet maltiness. I liked this a lot more than I though I would. I’ve had spruce beers where it felt like liking a pine tree air freshener. This one is quite well made, the spruce is subtle and melds nicely with the hops.

This 12 oz. can was sold in a 6 pack with their Crush IPA. Aroma has a decent amount of pine and spruce hints. The flavor has some bready malt as the base with the spruce and pine being the main theme throughout the sip. I actual like the a tad better the Crush that was sold with this. Bitterness had a bit more of a punch to the mouth.

Pours a hazy brown-amber from a can. Big pine aroma is matched in the flavor, but overall much more mellow and less bitter on the finish than the related Crush. Not picking up on the juniper or spruce specifically. Good beer.

Can: Marigold bouquet with mint and pine accents, thyme. Cloudy amber, medium head. Piney, marigold, grapefruit. Medium body, easy carbonation, slightly resinous. More bitter than the companion Crush, but not singularly piney either, which is good.
