500mL capped bottle. Pours very dark brown, almost black. Head dies very fast. Aroma is all sourness, acetic is strong hiding the soft stout underneath. Flavor is similarly sour with a dark, lightly cocoa maltiness. Just too much sour and not enough beer.

Very different, unique. Sour dominates, a very acetic type of sour reminiscent of a Flemish sour, a bit much really. It was difficult but I was able to discern the mild roast flavors of the dry stout hiding behind all that acidity. Not very balanced nor especially drinkable. Low carbonation, no head, dark brown-black, looked a bit like a flat soda in the glass.

Whole Foods, Williamsburg: pours dark brown with small head. Fruity funk with coffee and malts... interesting. Taste is sour and lightly malty. Good body. Nice.

Draught @ Amsterdam Ale House. Inky black with very small frothy off-white head, acidic funky aroma, medium carbonation, very tart taste with roasted malt flavor, thin body, long tart finish. Too sour and acidic, not much easier to drink than vinegar.
