Notes from 11/27/16 On tap at the brewery. Dark, brown on black body. Soft russet ring if wispy lace. Smells softly of that first whiff when you rip open a can of Quaker oats. Vanilla and honey quietly sweeten my nose up. Taste is bitter carob and oats. The power of suggestion compels me to say sarsaparilla. Thin, with a drying mouthfeel. Easy, but I'd like something just a touch sweeter.

Draught @ the source. Dark brown with slight reddish tint towards the light, foamy tan head, faint roasted malt aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter mocha taste, smooth thin body, medium bitter finish. Well balanced but a bit thin for a stout.

At the source, tap: pours black with a beige head. Aroma is milk chocolate, cocoa, and coffee. Taste is lightly roasty kind of sweet. Lots of chocolate. Easy to drink.
