Black colour with a lively bubbly beige head that leaves a fine lacing. Roasted malt and coffee nose. Medium pluss body. Light sweetness and some bitterness. A bit dry texture. Nice balanced coffee, roasted malt and chocolate flavour.

Small foxy dark-beige head over totally opaque brown-black beer. Outspoken coffee nose, roasted beans and chocolate "coffee beans". Notes of milkstout - the lactose, no doubt; café noir cookes. Cold coffee onslaught, but it does taste slightly lactic and sweetish - coffee with milk and sugar, no doubt. Also dark green leaves. Feels quite carbonated, to the extent of some acidity feel/taste. Very slick, warming. Yep, anoter BGBF - milk and sugar version.

Bottle bought in NYC in August 2012, labeled as Haandbryggeriet Coffee Porter. Black with a huge tan head. This was a rather soft one with coffee both in the aroma and taste. Also chocolate, malt, nuts and something "green". Nicely drinkable.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color porter with a large brown foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of aromatic coffee is quite nice with light dry roasted malt notes. Taste is a good mix between aromatic coffee notes with little astringency and roasted malt with a dry finish. Body is quite full for style with good carbonation. Very tasty coffee porter with very subtle smoky notes that I usually associated with the Haand brewery.

Bottle @ home picked up at Wilbur’s Foco. Pours a black appearance and a creamy brown head. Very rich, roasty coffee aroma with nice acidic fruity notes in addition to dark chocolate, vanilla, and a shit load of roastiness. Creamy, milky, rich burnt coffee, vanilla, milk chocolate flavor. Tastes a bit thin but overall pretty tasty.

50 cl bottle @ Kultainen Apina. Brewed 03.02.2012, bottled 17.02.2012
Aroma has lots of mocha, some licorice, jalopeno-llike vegetables and nettles, Flavour has mocha, some licorice and dark chocolate. Some jalopenos and hints of nettles in the finish. Palate is a bit watery, perhaps the 6% is not enough.
