Mmm… Osa is our beloved Photon American Pale Ale conditioned on freshly zested oranges at a rate of 6 oranges per barrel. It is everything photon is, with a dominant orange presence; this citric delight is our preferred way to start the afternoon.

US pint can at Farmers Bar, Avenue K, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, big orange citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a fresh, smooth, tart, juicy orange citrus, light herbal, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Tasty, but a little one dimensional.

Pours hazy deep mango into a tulip. Bright white conglomerate head with excellent retention recedes leaving scant sheets. Orange and bread aromas. Crisp with sour tangerine, orange muffins and sourdough toast front to back. Lasting bark finish.

Can pour. It's an opaque light brown with nice sparkle, 2-finger width frothy white head with fair retention and decent lacing. Aroma is strong orange and lemon. Taste follows aroma with light late bread. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, lively carbonation and juicy finish as taste. Overall, super juicy pale ale. Excessive carbonation detracts from the experience but after it sat for a while mellowed out. Great strength for the ABV.

16 oz. can, pours a hazy pale golden blonde with a medium white head. Aroma is loaded with bright oranges, crisp biscuity malt and subdued earthy hops. Flavour reveals a nice bright hop character, citrus, gentle oranges, and gently sweet biscuity malt. The oranges accentuate the hop character really nicely, adding an excellent brightness. Really good.

Pint can from Wine Cellar Depere, 3/28/21. Murky and pulpy orange, large off-white head, good retention. Aroma of straight up orange juice. Really nothing else. Taste is orange, pineapple, melon, dank, pale malt. Medium bodied, juicy. Not very beerlike, but pretty good.
