Mmm… Osa is our beloved Photon American Pale Ale conditioned on freshly zested oranges at a rate of 6 oranges per barrel. It is everything photon is, with a dominant orange presence; this citric delight is our preferred way to start the afternoon.

Pours a hazy, golden-orange, with mid-sized head. Aroma has notes of citrus (orange), some hops, a touch of pine/spruce. Flavor is orange, citrus, with a lightly sweet body and a bitter, hoppy finish.

It is not my imagination, it smells like light OJ. Fresh squeezed orange juice with minerals. Flavor of orange, tangerine, and if you really stretch at Mango. But don’t be fooled this is all about orange. Light bodied and juicy.

Present of my buddy Ricci at Polar pub, Madrid (thanks!) 1 pint can served in red wine glass. It pours hazy amber, almost orange; with a frothy, sticky, much lacing, tan head. Aroma is rather intense for an APA, yet very citrus-y as it corresponds to the style: grapefruit, bitter orange, dry lemon, green lime... Taste is rather crisp and bitterish, and mouthfeel starts more or less watery but develops a nice slick texture and long finish.

Draught at Saus, 6/18/18.
Fully hazy-cloudy, copper-maize-bronze. White head fizzles to nothing. Papaya, nectarine, peach, lime-mango and a fair amount of dough but no resin or other odd stuff. Cleans up with more citrus and melon and spice.
Juicy, clean, herbal citrus. Almost like a cucumber-watermelon juice with light tangerine-lemon. No strong or overdone citrus peel but you can find, it if looking, on the end. Dry, not thick or yeasty; so odd about nose. Love that watermelon character. Soft texture, though lots of cracker. Low but mostly tight carbonation. Zero resin, though moderate, crisp bitterness. Like a slightly juicier, mango watermelon-imbued whirlpool. Incredibly refreshing. Just a touch of doughy yeast but otherwise amazing.

Proletariat, NYC tap: pours hazy orange with a white head. Aroma is tons of orange. Taste is orange juice, orange starburst... etc... low sweetness, pretty dry. Good juicer.

Draught @ Hogshead. Hazy dark yellow with small frothy whitish head, citrus peel aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter taste with orange, bit of mango, somewhat thick body, longish finish. Quite tasty and more like an American IPA.

Draft at RnH-East. Heavy cloudy orange pour with an off white head and some heavy lace. Smells like a tropical juice box basically, with lots of orange, some mango, peach, and a hint of grapefruit. Drinks juicy and a little sweet, but with a nice balancing bitterness too. Soft, smooth, creamy feel. Like a beer-juice hybrid basically. Clean, light dry close.
